Description
This simple but effective mushroom growing kit is the original product that Mushbox started with in 1999. Sticking to our roots we try to keep this mushroom kit as basic as possible.
 
This kit comes complete with:
  • 1 Rye grain jar or other substrate
  • 1 grow box
  • 1 dome lid
  • 1 bag of casing soil
  • 1 bag of shredded straw
  • 1 package of casing starter
  • 1 spray bottle
  • 1 mixing bag

The Mushbox casing kit makes it happen for beginners, and it's also a proven method for advanced cultivators to get up and running quickly for producing large quantities of mushrooms. Using a rye grain jar as the base starting substrate, (you can also choose other options) moving up to straw and casing soil you can build up the layers creating a robust block of healthy mycelium.  From there all you need to do is provide the 12 hours of light and keep the temp. / humidity at the right levels and you will have plenty of mushrooms pinning before your eyes.
 
It's this casing technique that creates massive mushrooms over and over again producing multiple harvests with giant fruits.  You can grow almost any type of mushroom that will use straw as a nutrient source, such as oyster mushrooms.
 
Note: This kit does not come with any spores or cultures to get started.

    I ordered this grow kit and was very surprised at the speed of the delivery. The customer service is amazing as well.     Biggest mushrooms I have ever seen
    This kit grew some of the largest mushrooms I have ever seen grown indoors. Absolutley amazing.

    Good kit for bulk mushroom growing
    This is the first mushroom kit I ever tried and it was an excellent learning experience. Duplicating this casing method on a larger scale we use this method for growing edible mushrooms in bulk.
